A Plague Tale: Innocence Sells More Than One Million Copies Worldwide

Bring on the sequel.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is one of the greatest titles publisher Focus Home Interactive has ever put out and that appears to have translated into a lot of sales more than a year after release. Asobo Studio today announced that the game has sold more than one million copies across the globe, surely making it a successful project for the developer.

And while a sequel hasn’t been officially confirmed just yet, we’d be surprised if it didn’t happen. Back in December 2019, rumours suggested that a follow-up would be revealed at some point this year. It would launch in 2022, speculation suggested. Of course, that hasn’t happened yet, but then the coronavirus pandemic may have thrown promotional campaigns into disarray.
